Warning, it’s pretty loud, I was playing the film on my laptop for the music sooo…..
Hey all, sorry for the long gap in posting, I’ve been busy. Here is an update of where the film is at right now. I am currently working all at once on polishing animation, modeling and texturing some props, adding new backgrounds, lighting, and rendering.
Below are some of the new background paintings Jeff has done for the film recently.
The painting below is an updated version of the first background that was ever painted. This new version is reworked to fit more with the style of the backgrounds as they have evolved a bit.
Here is a render of the flying machine model built and textured by Jason Young. This is the low res model, it will be smoothed when it is put into the film.
Going South is Moneo's thesis film and marks his second acceptance into the Cinéfondation section of Cannes, a first for any Columbia filmmaker.
My thesis film at the School of Visual Arts!
Finding a great thesis statement for a film studies paper can be hard. With this tool, you can just enter the film you want to write about and have a jargon-filled thesis statement in no time.Hi Guys!
This is my Brooklyn College Thesis film inspired by the classic Milos Forman film, starring the one and only Jack Nicolson, "One Flew Over the Coo Coo's Nest." I put so much heart and effort into this film; from pre-production: producing, casting, to building a set from scratch, to production during the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy and the monstrous blizzard that followed. It was single-handedly one of the most difficult, but rewarding tasks of my life. I proved to myself that I can make a film! I have so many people to thank for the completion of this film, and I'll have memories of this production for the rest of my life.
I had many issues along the way, with sound being one of the biggest problem. It was due to my soundtrack, that my film was not selected to be screened at the Brooklyn College Film Festival. Naturally I was devastated! I've held this film back for two years, but now is the time to just let it be seen. My crew and cast deserve it! Without further adieu, here is, "They're All Crazy."The short film I create over my senior year at SVA! This film won the Dusty award for “Outstanding Character Animation”! Advised by animator Mario Menjivar! This is my senior thesis film that I co-directed with Ellen Su. I'm responsible for all Animation and the facial rig on the Boy.
